- Respond to the wish of the City of Cormeilles to densify its station neighbourhood in order to meet the housing needs of the population, while seeking sustainability, exemplariness and innovation compatible with the “100 Quartiers innovants et écologiques” approach (100 innovative and environmentally-friendly districts) borne by the Paris Region.
- Design a sober project and place the City’s ambition for innovation at its service in order to give it overall environmental consistency.
Exhaustive environmental diagnosis of the site (climatic constraints, natural and technological risks, water cycle, transports and parking, noise and air quality, landscape and biodiversity, energy sources and diagnostic), benchmark of innovative solutions for a sustainable station neighbourhood and drafting of an innovation booklet on the theme of healthy urban planning, establishment of environmental specifications for the construction of the future buildings.
- The project’s politically validated identity was built around healthy urban planning issues (sustainable development issues integrated way upstream).
- Drafting of framework documents (plot sheets with environmental specifications, innovation booklet) to prepare the launch of the operational phase of the project.
